Our Farm

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be participating in the Winter Farmers Market this year.  We’re going through a transition at the farm now that Grant has graduated from college and has come back home.  We’re trying to help him achieve his own farming goals, so we will most likely not have space to accommodate our steers in the future and thus won’t have finished beef to sell going forward.  We’ll still have our herd of beef cows, but will be selling the calves at weaning time.  It looks like this will be our final season at the market.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our family farm over the years; from those of you who have purchased sides of beef for your freezer, to the farmers market customers who bought our individual cuts.  I appreciate the many friendships that have been formed over the years, and will definitely keep in touch.  I’ll be maintaining the farm Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pages/Willow-Lea-Stock-Farm/215014601858086 to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening, and to continue to be an advocate for agriculture.  I hope to see everyone at the Woodstock Farmers Market next year, where I intend to be a regular shopper.

Thanks again for your patronage!
